13 in 13 Yoga challenge

As part of our 13 in 13 list (details here if you missed it) Steve and I signed up for “Nine Physical Challenges”. Our goal is to find new  ways to improve our fitness with activities that we can do together. So when  I  found a Groupon for a  nearby Yoga studio, I was excited to create our first challenge:  7  straight days of power yoga classes. Now, this might not seem like a big commitment to you yogis or fitness buffs out there, but I’m lucky if I make it to yoga once a week, and if Steve goes once a month it’s a yogi miracle. In fact neither of us have done a power yoga class multiple days in a row, so this is truly a challenge!  Today was our first day and we left sweaty, sore and  with that amazing yoga high that you just can’t beat. Obviously day one is the easy part, so I’m interested to see how the rest of the week goes.  I’m hoping this short but sweet journey will positively impact us both phsyically and mentally. Namaste!
