“Retro” Project Life
I’m still working on my 2012 Project life album which officially puts me at two years behind in the scrap-booking world. So the Project Life posts you see on here are all “Retro”. It sounds better than “really late”. I’ve accepted the fact that I will probably never be the person who documents each week as it is happening. I tried it that way at first, but would get frustrated if I missed a week and if I was super busy it turned into a chore instead of something I enjoyed. So instead of a weekly requirement, I use Project Life as a fun and easy format to document each year. I have a binder for each year with a few spreads per month, depending on how much was going on. So here it is:
<<Retro April, 2012>>
Most of the card inserts are from the Blush Project Life kit. I also like to use paper souvenirs as inserts where I can. For this spread I used Billy Elliott tickets, the Stagecoach program and even a beer label I saved from Beerfest. For both Stagecoach and Coachella they sent a rub on sticker with the tickets which I spread over three cards to make the large headings you see above and below. For the Beerfest title card, I used temporary tattoos of beer companies that they gave out and applied them to paper to make a collage.
love and candy,
